FAQ
Which links are supported?
Videos (/@user/video/…), photo mode (/@user/photo/…), story links, the vm.tiktok.com and /t/ short links from the TikTok app, mobile (m.tiktok.com) and embed links. A profile link lists the account’s recent posts.
Why is there no watermark?
The TikTok website plays videos without the logo, and that is the file you get. Pick “Watermarked” if you want the version with the logo.
What is the difference between H.264 and H.265?
Both look the same. H.265 files are smaller but do not play on some Windows PCs and older phones. The “Recommended” quality plays everywhere.
Why do some qualities say “Audio added”?
TikTok serves some high qualities without sound. The audio is taken from another quality and added in your browser; nothing is uploaded or re-encoded.
Can I download from private accounts?
No. Only public posts can be downloaded.
How can I use what I download?
The rights belong to the creators. Do not republish without permission beyond personal use.
Do you store my links?
No. The server keeps only a short-lived cache, and IP addresses are never logged in the clear. “Recent downloads” lives only on your device.
